FAQ About CoolerZone and Our Service                     1-866-769-PURE (7873)

What is CoolerZone? CoolerZone is a locally owned rental service provider of pure drinking water coolers for the office or home customer. Our systems do not require regular delivery of water jugs; rather our equipment filters the customer’s city or well water.

How does it work? The coolers are attached to any existing cold water line in your office. This can be done without any permanent modifications to your fixtures, and without shutting off the water to the building or office. Then the water is then filtered using the same technology bottled water plants use, but on a smaller scale.

How does it Taste? Simply, it tastes great! Our local water supply, NID, usually does a very good job with our water quality, and in fact NID quality standards are very similar to that of bottled water. While both NID (Tap water) and bottled water are generally safe, their distribution methods makes CoolerZone™ a better solution to ensure you are getting the best tasting, purest quality water.

Why is CoolerZone better than Tap? While tap water is very carefully monitored and tested, most people find the addition of chlorine to the water provides an undesirable taste. Additionally old pipes or water main failures and repairs can often add sediment, dirt, rust and possibly lead to the water during its trip from the plant to the customer. Our filters remove these undesirable attributes.

Why is CoolerZone better than Bottled? There are several reasons, but the primary ones are convenience, cost and equipment cleanliness. For the most part, bottled water is filtered tap water. Bottled water is a good product in most cases however; the distribution system (trucks, drivers, bottling plants, bottles) makes it very expensive and inconvenient. You are not paying for the water, rather the distribution costs. In many cases, the bottling plants process tap water and others truck in spring water, which is bottled and sent out on smaller route trucks. All of this driving around is expensive, and the consumer pays.

Why should I consider CoolerZone? For one, the quality of the water will be better than bottled water or tap and here’s why: Our systems are more sanitary because the systems remained sealed. Because we eliminate bottle changes, at no time is the reservoir integrity compromised by being exposed to outside air or dirty hands.
Convenience & Safety:
there are no hassles and there are no heavy bottles to lift and you’ll never run out of water.
Price:
The bill remains fixed throughout the rental period (no bottle deposits to or fuel surcharges to reconcile), which makes budgeting a snap.

How do you ensure quality? Prior to being set out in the field, the coolers are sanitized and the filter housings cleaned and sanitized then flushed and bench tested. Once sealed, the system remains sealed until the next service. Unlike our bottled water counterparts, CoolerZone™ coolers are field sanitized on a semi annual basis.

What are the environmental impacts? Minimal. CoolerZone is the most environmentally friendly solution to pure water. There is virtually no waste with our systems. Single serve bottles add tons of material to the waste stream and contrary to popular belief, this material cannot be used again for bottled water or food products. Further, we do not deliver with large commercial diesel trucks. By having a CoolerZone cooler, you can do your part by reducing the number of diesel truck deliveries. Our Bottled Water Competitors burn over 20 times the diesel fuel per account than CoolerZone™.

What is CoolerZone’s community involvement? CoolerZone is a locally owned company. Our children attend the local schools and we support other local businesses.
